Hollywood star Jennifer Lopez enjoyed a pleasant day with her twins, Emme and Max Muñiz, and manager Benny Medina, in sunny Los Angeles on November 2. The group stepped out for lunch at Nobu, where the singer was spotted in a casually chic outfit that the public had much to say about online.

Jennifer donned a white turtleneck that hugged her figure. She paired the top with low-waisted, wide-leg trousers featuring delicate black and white pinstripes.

From online photos, it appears as though Jennifer was wearing the Skims “Nipple Push-Up Bra.” Some social media users also wondered if she was in fact wearing the brand’s undergarment. As advertised online, the bra is designed for those seeking a “perky, braless look.”

This bra — a bold fashion statement on its own — promises an “enhanced shape, and authentic augmentation” with its unique raised nipple detail. It is also crafted from a soft microfiber fabric.

Retailing at $64, the clothing item adds both lift and smoothness, making it a popular pick among fans of Skims’ sultry yet comfortable styles.

Completing her look, Jennifer sported dark shades and wore her honey-colored hair pulled back into a simple updo, although there were a few strands left loose to frame her face. Joining the “Selena” actress was her son Max who was dressed in a relaxed, trendy ensemble.

The rarely-seen teenager wore a light pink oversized sweatshirt with the words “River Way” printed on the front. He complemented this with plaid pants and a pair of black sneakers. His dark-rimmed glasses and slightly tousled hair added the finishing touches to his laid-back appearance.

Max’s twin, on the other hand, was seen in a dark green oversized sweatshirt, paired with loose, black pants and finished with a cap that concealed most of Emme’s hair.

Tagging along on the family excursion was an unidentified friend who looked to be a pal of Emme’s and Max’s. While the group attempted to enjoy a low-key outing, the paparazzi had other plans.

Video footage showed how relentless photographers were in vying for the perfect shot of Jennifer and her children. The pursuit for photos grew so intense that a minor scuffle ensued between one photographer and a member of Jennifer’s security detail.

Nevertheless, the paparazzi got their photos, which were then shared online. Upon seeing such images, social media lit up with reactions. For some netizens, Jennifer’s ensemble was a major point of contention.

Blunt critiques of the “On the Floor” artist’s style continued, with an observer asserting, “Bad style.” “Skims bra?” questioned another.

Meanwhile, some online observers seemed unimpressed with Max’s attire. “What ever happened to clothes that match and fit [sic],” criticized a social media user. Another echoed this sentiment with a more pointed remark, “her kids needs a clothes they dress soooo bad [sic].”

While netizens had much to say about different aspects of Jennifer and her kids’ appearances, a standout theme was the consensus surrounding Max’s shared resemblance to Marc Anthony. This is not the first instance in which Max’s looks have been likened to his father’s.

Just earlier this year (2024), Jennifer Lopez marked a significant milestone for her twins by sharing a heartfelt dedication on Instagram to celebrate their 16th birthday. This post sparked a flurry of resemblance comments from fans.

Reactions flooded Jennifer’s comment section, with one fan exclaiming, “Max is a true copy of his father Marc Anthony! They are identical!” “Jen’s genes did not even try,” joked another, while someone else exclaimed, “Omg!!! Max looks exactly like Marc Anthony. A clone.”

Before Emme and Max were born in 2008, Jennifer and Marc announced they were expecting during a concert in Miami the previous year (2007), and Jennifer’s then-manager, Simon Fields, shared the news once the twins arrived. “Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled, and over the moon,” stated Simon.

After seven years of marriage, and when the twins were four years old, the former couple announced their separation and finalized their divorce in 2014.

“We have decided to end our marriage,” disclosed Jennifer and Anthony in a joint statement. “This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters. It is a painful time for all involved, and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time,” added the exes.

Despite having moved on romantically, Jennifer and Marc maintained a strong co-parenting relationship for the sake of their children. In a previous interview, Jennifer shared some insights into her relationship with the musician, stating, “Oh yeah, yeah, no, we’re like best friends, you know? We’re making an album right now.”

She went on to express how their collaboration on her Spanish album strengthened their bond and benefited their children. “We’re just in a really great place. It’s good for them, it’s good for us, it was good for the whole family,” noted the mother of two.
